Nursing Professional Development (NPD) practitioners partner for practice transitions. This session discusses a structured and supportive orientation for experienced nurses in ambulatory care using an adapted Tiered Skills Acquisition Model® (TSAM®). In this flexible model, nurses demonstrate competency in skills with progressive complexity in an organized manner, fostering increased confidence and the potential for decreased orientation time.
