Liz Cambier, MSN, RN, NPD-BC Education Program Manager, ANPD

Liz Cambier has experience in ICU, emergency services and hospice nursing. She has 11 years in nursing professional development and began this journey as a professional development educator for the emergency department at Holland Hospital in Michigan. After earning her MSN from Ferris State University and obtaining her NPD certification, Cambier transitioned into a leadership role at Holland Hospital, ultimately becoming the full-time manager of professional development education. She has long been actively involved with ANPD and the Michigan Nursing Professional Development (MNPD) affiliate. Cambier was part of the inaugural cohort of the ANPD NPD Leadership Academy and has served on the ANPD Convention Content Planning Committee and the Nominating Committee. She now serves as education program manager for ANPD.

Naomi Fox, DNP, RN, NPD-BC, CCRN Director of Education, ANPD

Naomi Fox has been a nurse for 16 years with a clinical background in critical care working for both a large teaching hospital and a community hospital. As an NPD practitioner, she has worked as a critical care and telemetry service line educator, an NPD department coordinator, nurse residency program director, and the administrative director of an NPD department in a large teaching hospital. She maintains an adjunct instructor role in the Center for Professional Development, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, School of Nursing. She currently serves as the director of education for ANPD.

Mary Smith, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, NC-BC, AMB-BC, C-EFM, CCE Education Program Manager, ANPD

Mary Smith is ANPD’s NPD education program manager. Leveraging 25 years of experience as a registered nurse and a graduate education in nursing, Mary is committed to serving the needs of the ANPD community. Smith is a published author and a national nursing publication peer reviewer, fostering the support of continued professional development and growth of nurses. She has experience spanning inpatient and outpatient work in obstetrical nursing, regulatory and nursing leadership, and as a nurse coach, which have provided a broad foundation for her continued work in nursing professional development with ANPD. 

Stephanie Zidek, PhD, RN, AGCNS-BC, NEA-BC, NPD-BC Director of Nursing Education and Professional Development, Advocate Aurora HealthCare

Stephanie Zidek serves as a director of nursing education and professional development at Advocate Health for the Midwest region. Previously, she has held nursing leadership roles at the site, region, and system levels. Stephanie got her PhD studies at Indiana University, focusing on the effects of nurse well-being. She is certified in nursing professional development (NPD-BC), nursing executive advanced (NEA-BC), and as an adult gerontological clinical nurse specialist (AGCNS-BC). She was  honored with the Belinda E. Peutz Award from the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) for exemplary leadership, identified as one of the “40 Under 40 Emerging Nurse Leaders” in Illinois, and selected as a member of the Young Professional Voices – Class of 2021 by the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL). Zidek believes every nurse is a leader, from the bedside to the boardroom, and uses her platform to ensure nurses continue to shape practice, accelerate influence, and optimize outcomes.
