The 4th edition of the Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Scope & Standards of Practice introduces Standard 9. Respectful and Equitable Practice, which outlines competencies for NPD practitioners to promote social equity in NPD practice. This webinar explores elements of cultural humility, ethical responsibility, social and digital determinants of health, critical consciousness, allyship, and strategies to apply these concepts to NPD practice.
Outcome: As a result of this session, 65% of participants who complete the evaluation will be able to identify at least one strategy to promote social equity in NPD practice.
