Ashley Simpson started her nursing journey by obtaining her bachelor’s in nursing science in 2019. She gained employment with AdventHealth Orlando in Florida, where she worked as a cardiothoracic and vascular nurse for three years. Simpson then transitioned to her current role as nursing professional development practitioner and conferred her master’s in nursing education in 2023. Her primary focus is facilitating the transition and specialty training of new hires, identifying knowledge and practice gaps, using innovative strategies to provide solutions, and mentoring team members as they pursue professional growth.
