Target Audience: Nursing professional development (NPD) practitioners and interprofessional planners of continuing professional development.
Description: This session explores how to create a network of NPD practitioners within your organization that provide standardized simulation education for large initiatives incorporating a ‘simulation-in-a-bag’ approach. Areas of focus include documentation, schedules, coordination of individuals participating, and how to train the trainers.
Outcome: 50% of participants will report that this session provides knowledge and/or tools that will enable them to incorporate a standardized simulation process in their practice setting.
Continuing Education: Association for Nursing Professional Development is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
