Description: This webinar provides an overview of the evolution of simulation through the lens of the California Simulation Alliance (CSA). The CSA is a 4,000 member, non-profit organization which provides simulation education to faculty and educators. When the pandemic hit, all courses were moved to an online, remote format. The International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) and Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) standards will be highlighted, tips for teaching remotely will be provided, and resource links will be accessible.
Outcome: Upon completion of this activity, 80% of learners will identify a realistic tool they can implement to facilitate simulation remotely.
Continuing Education: Association for Nursing Professional Development is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
