Description: The COVID-19 crisis catalyzed the need for a modified critical care orientation program for redeployed nurses would care for COVID-19 patients. This webinar explores how the team at Michigan Medicine–University of Michigan provides essential information and critical care skills for nurses redeployed to a modified ICU setting using a combination of cognitive tools and competency evaluation mechanisms.
Outcome: 65% of participants will report that this session provides information that enhances, validates, or causes a change in practice.
Continuing Education: Association for Nursing Professional Development is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
