Target Audience: Academic nurse educators and nursing professional development (NPD) practitioners

Description: In 2019, Walden University collaborated to develop a position paper advocating for the inclusion of nursing professional development (NPD) content in graduate curricula. Learn about ANPD’s Meritorious Academic Partnership (MAP) Designation and steps taken by the university to include NPD content in its Master’s in Science of Nursing (MSN) with an education focused program.

Outcome: 80% of participants will describe one way they will use the position paper to advocate for NPD content in their academic partners’ graduate nursing curricula.

Continuing Education: The Association for Nursing Professional Development is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
