The Future of Nursing Networking Session

By Jillian A. Russell, MSN, RN, NPD-BC

Nursing professional development (NPD) team members often lack the opportunity to network with fellow NPD professionals to identify the latest evidence and innovation in their specialty practice. Because opportunities for face-to-face interaction are limited, ANPD has created online networking sessions to narrow this gap. All NPD team members are encouraged to attend ANPD’s networking opportunities to share innovations, best practices, and engage with the NPD community. Each session will have an identified theme for dialogue and will take place on a robust virtual networking platform, Remo. You will virtually 'sit' around a table with a group of NPD team members and be led by a table facilitator to network and discuss the designated session topic.

The next networking session, The Future of Nursing—NPD Implications, will take place on October 26, 2021, 11am – 12:15pm CT. Join us as we explore the recommendations from the recently published report, The Future of Nursing 2020–2030: Charting a Path to Achieve Health Equity. Prepare to network with your NPD community to explore implications and strategies for NPD team members to support the recommendations outlined in this pivotal report.
