As we plan for Aspire to Trailblaze, your health and safety while enjoying an exceptional education and networking experience is our top priority. The ANPD Board of Directors has given thoughtful consideration to create our  COVID-19 Health & Safety guidelines.

Health & Safety Guidelines for Aspire to Trailblaze

As of January 12, 2022, the ANPD Annual Convention COVID-19 guidelines are:
  • All attendees, speakers, exhibitors, guests and ANPD support staff in attendance at the Annual Convention in San Antonio must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or receive a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours before the kick-off of the convention. To find a vaccine site near you, please visit www.vaccines.gov.
    • Should a positive test prohibit you from traveling to the convention, your registration will be rolled into an upcoming ANPD online education experience. More details about an online education experience can be found on the convention homepage.
  • ANPD will use the CLEAR verification process to verify attendee vaccination or negative test status. All attendees will be required to download and provide proof of vaccination through the CLEAR app prior to the event. Follow these steps to download and enroll in the CLEAR Health Pass
  • Face masks will be required indoors at all times during the convention activities, for all participants, regardless of vaccination status.
ANPD is working closely with the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and our contractors and exhibitors to ensure elevated disinfection and sanitary protocols are met throughout our event space. We will also continue to seek expert advice on up-to-the-moment health and safety direction from the WHO, the CDC, State and Local public health authorities, and recognized health and safety experts. As more information becomes available, these guidelines may change.

Hear from ANPD President, Susan Bindon, DNP, RN, NPD-BC, CNE, CNEcl, in the video below to learn more about this important update.

More information about these details is available on the Health & Safety FAQs page.
