Target Audience: RNs: NPD practitioners, nursing leaders
Description: Transition to nurse professional development (NPD) practice is frequently inconsistent and inadequate for the needs of the organization. We invite you to hear evidence-based approaches to promoting successful transition of clinical nurses to the nursing professional development practitioner role.
Outcome: Participants will implement at least one evidence-based approach to supporting NPD transition to practice through orientation, mentoring, and NPD skill development.
Continuing Education: The Association for Nursing Professional Development is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
