Convention Education

Continuing Education: Association for Nursing Professional Development is accredited as a provider of continuing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Requirements for Obtaining Contact Hours:

  1. Registration for convention
  2. Attestation of attendance at sessions claimed for contact hours
  3. Completion of online evaluation of sessions attended

Partial credit is awarded for each individual session attended. Maximum contact hours available 19.5 (convention only) + up to 12.25 contact hours for pre-convention activities.

Conflict of Interest: Planners disclose no conflict of interest relative to this educational activity. Presenters disclose no conflict of interest relative to this educational activity.

Pre-convention Workshops: 3.75 contact hours/workshop
Leadership Academy Workshop: 3.75 contact hours
Professional Development Associate Workshop: 7.0 contact hours
NPD Certification Prep Course: 16 contact hours/full course*
Networking Event: 1.0 contact hour
General Sessions: 1.0-1.25 contact hours/session
Concurrent Sessions: 1.0 contact hour/session
Posters: 0.16 contact hour/poster, 4 total contact hours available
*Partial credit may be awarded in extenuating circumstances for attendance of a single full day of the NPD Certification Preparation Course.

Please note that concurrent session seating is offered on a first come, first served basis. Your selection of sessions through the agenda builder helps us assign appropriately sized rooms to each session, but does not guarantee your spot in the session.
