As part of system wide sepsis education, an evidence-based sepsis video was developed by three system level nursing professional development practitioners. New teaching methodologies may improve sepsis related knowledge retention among nurses. Given the importance of nursing impact on the treatment of sepsis, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of boost methodology on nurse retention of sepsis related knowledge.
